Fast and the Furious
Yeah, all the hype surrounding the hit movie "The Fast and the Furious" made it look like the sweetest movie ever made... but most of the stunts that would be simple to put together where computer generated! I do understand that some computer work has to be done in a movie but it is just way to much. If you like this movie... DON'T GET THE DVD! It shows you how fake all of the stunts really are. Look at this picture at the left for a moment. Why did these cars fly up into the air? There doesn't seem to be any reason right? Well, for added effect they put ramps in there to pop them up into the air.

Mark: "When the truck pulls out in front of the Charger, the that guy had enouph time to swerve!I would know; from expierience in the 'Achiva.'"

Gone in 60 Seconds (New one)
This is the best, DON'T QUOTE ME car movie made. Good cast, cool cars... you can't beat that. As far as I have heard, there where not too many special effects in this one except the one when He jumps all of the cars on the bridge in his 1967 Shelby GT500 (some mods). Actually, it is a very funny movie as well as one that will make you drool if you love cars. I would say that this movie would be the best you could get on DVD except for the Matrix, but this is a car site so I won't go into that. If you have a collection, you won't want to not see this.
RUN OUT AND RENT THIS ONE!!!

The original is always the best. Filled with car chases and fast truck driving.

1. Involves a Trans Am.
2. Involves smashing of motorcycles by a Semi.
3. Involves a cop making an ass of himself.
4. Who doesn't like a good movie with plenty of car crushing, fights, and motorcycle bashin? |
